CONNECTIVITY SOLUTIONS FOR COOPERATIVAS
Background
The formation of a Cooperative is the result of the agreement among a group of people who are willing to carry out solidarity work, not for profit, with the aim of working out a lack common to all of them.
In Argentina, Cooperativism is an activity that has allowed many populations located far away from urban centers to have access to services that did not reach their places, such as provision of drinking water, electricity, telephony, Internet and general telecommunications, being able to cover the economic, social and cultural needs and aspirations of their inhabitants.
Requirements
Due to the evolution and new technological demands in terms of telephony, Internet, and wireless networks, in addition to population growth, Cooperatives have been in need of expanding and modernizing their service networks.
Considering the high investment costs of making a strong change in technologies, in many cases we seek to maintain and interoperate current networks, while introducing technologies that facilitate the path to modernization.
